Crystal Focus Images came about from a necessity for me to explain to eye surgeons how I was viewing the world. Slowly regaining sight after having been accidently blinded by a needle piercing my eyeball, my words proved inadequate to explain the many dimensional depths, sparkles, shapes and distortions I was seeing. Looking through the bottom of a wine glass (with my good eye) one evening, I realized if I could take a photo of what I saw, perhaps the surgeons would understand how I was seeing from a photo. That evening,I manipulated my camera somewhat, and a whole new method of photography emerged for me. I now have a different sight in the injured eye, and hope you experience the sense of joy from these photos that I feel, because I can again "see" something. Thank you for visiting.
